These stud earrings are a one-of-a-kind design. They have been sandcast using recycled sterling silver and feature yellow diamonds (total 0.06ct).
They are approximately 5mm in diameter and come with sterling silver scrolls.
Part of the One-of-a-Kind Collection
These studs were created as part of our collection of one-off pieces of jewellery.
We wanted to create a pair of studs that can be reached for everyday, yet still have a unique quality to them. We settled on using the sand casting method - recycled sterling silver was poured into a sand mould.
We preserved the organic texture this method produces on the surface of the metal, giving a bit of individual character to each of these studs and adding contrast with the sparkle of the diamonds.

One-of-a-Kind: The Story
The One-of-a-Kind collection began with the opportunity to purchase an unusual parcel of gemstones. It featured a diverse mix ranging from amethysts and iolites to coloured diamonds. Faced with so many possibilities, we chose to let the stones lead the design process.
This became our “Gemstone Challenge” which we share on our social media: selecting a stone at random and creating directly from it, rather than starting with a fixed design.
Working this way has pushed us in unexpected directions, resulting in pieces that sit outside our core collections. Each one is shaped by the character of its gemstone and carries its own distinct story - guided by chance and craftsmanship.

Are the gemstones natural or lab-grown?
We use both natural and lab-grown gemstones in our designs. If we've used a lab-grown gemstone, it will be specified in the product description.
How should I care for this piece?
