The Freya pendant is a one-of-a-kind design. It has been sandcast using recycled sterling silver and features a 2mm yellow diamond.
The pendant is 14.5mm in length and it comes on an 18 inch silver chain fastened with a bolt ring.
Part of the One-of-a-Kind Collection
This collection gives us the freedom to experiment with ideas that don’t fit in with our core collections - this is exactly what we’ve done with the Freya pendant.
We started with this vibrant yellow diamond and knew that we had to come up with something that would match its character.
Following our experiment with creating a bone texture with the Mina pendant, we decided to try a skull, setting the diamond in the place of an eye.
After carving out the shape in jewellers wax and creating a mould, we cast this form in recycled sterling silver, allowing the metal to create a slightly organic form. This gives the impression that the Freya pendant has been waiting to be discovered over many years, perhaps guarding a hoard of treasure with that twinkling eye.

One-of-a-Kind: The Story
The One-of-a-Kind collection began with the opportunity to purchase an unusual parcel of gemstones. It featured a diverse mix ranging from amethysts and iolites to coloured diamonds. Faced with so many possibilities, we chose to let the stones lead the design process.
This became our “Gemstone Challenge” which we share on our social media: selecting a stone at random and creating directly from it, rather than starting with a fixed design.
Working this way has pushed us in unexpected directions, resulting in pieces that sit outside our core collections. Each one is shaped by the character of its gemstone and carries its own distinct story - guided by chance and craftsmanship.

Are the gemstones natural or lab-grown?
We use both natural and lab-grown gemstones in our designs. If we've used a lab-grown gemstone, it will be specified in the product description.
How should I care for this piece?
