These stud earrings are a one-of-a-kind design. They have been sandcast using recycled sterling silver and feature six 1.5mm lab grown diamonds.
They come with sterling silver scrolls and are approximately 42mm in length.
Part of the One-of-a-Kind Collection
These earrings were created as part of our challenge to create unique, not to be repeated pieces of unique gemstone jewellery.
We used a sand-casting method to create the Isla Earrings, a process which lends itself to the creation of unique pieces. Molten recycled sterling silver was poured into a mould created using sand.
The results of this casting method are never quite the same and leave a unique texture on each piece. We’ve left this texture on these earrings, resulting in jewellery that carries its own identity.
Lab grown diamonds are scattered at random over each earring, adding a bit of sparkle.

One-of-a-Kind: The Story
The One-of-a-Kind collection began with the opportunity to purchase an unusual parcel of gemstones. It featured a diverse mix ranging from amethysts and iolites to coloured diamonds. Faced with so many possibilities, we chose to let the stones lead the design process.
This became our “Gemstone Challenge” which we share on our social media: selecting a stone at random and creating directly from it, rather than starting with a fixed design.
Working this way has pushed us in unexpected directions, resulting in pieces that sit outside our core collections. Each one is shaped by the character of its gemstone and carries its own distinct story - guided by chance and craftsmanship.

Are the gemstones natural or lab-grown?
We use both natural and lab-grown gemstones in our designs. If we've used a lab-grown gemstone, it will be specified in the product description.
How should I care for this piece?
